Terry has twenty plus years of experience consulting in educational, institutional, and business settings. He speaks at safety conferences worldwide and founded the Behavioral Safety Now conference held each hear. He is the author of The Values-Based Safety Process: Improving Your Safety Culture with Behavior-Based Safety.

Michael Johnson | Senior Vice President

Assisted dozens of organizations in the selection, design and management of behavior-based applications. He has spent the last thirty years in manufacturing management including 20 years in senior management, implementing BBS and productivity improvement systems.

Jerry Pounds | Senior Vice President - International

Jerry has spent thirty years consulting and coaching in the areas of behavioral analysis and performance improvement. He has designed and implemented hundreds of strategic performance improvement initiatives including Maritz, Ford Motor Company, Wal Mart, Blue Cross-Blue Shield and many other Fortune 500 Companies.

Dee Tinley-Strong | Vice President, Safety Systems Assessment

Dee developed the Integrated Risk Management process for QSE. She holds a Ph.D., Applied Behavior Analysis and an M.A., Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is Adjunct Professor at West Chester University. She has 20 years experience designing, implementing, managing organizational and behavioral programs in business, industry, and government in a variety of settings.

Grainne served as a past president of the Behavioral Safety Network. She has eighteen years experience designing, implementing, and evaluating behavioral programs.

Beth Foate | Senior Project Manager

Beth has fifteen years experience improving quality, process flow, inventory, teamwork, and safety. She also is an experience project manager and was successful in Lean and BBS implementations in various industries.

Don Nielsen | Senior Project Manager

Don has over eight years experience with behavioral safety interventions. A partial list of past clients include Kaiser Permanente, Bayer Healthcare,Alson’s Corporation and Devon Energy among dozens of others. Don has particular expertise in healthcare including the development of an improved patient flow process for hospital emergency departments

He is a frequent presenter at local and national conferences and published contributor in Professional Safety, Journal of Emergency Nursing, and Journal of Emergency Medicine. Don holds a Ph.D., Applied Behavior Analysis, and M.A. Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Western Michigan University.

Sergio Pinto | Project Manager

Sergio has over 13 years experience conducting behavioral analysis interventions. His interests include organizational behavior management, systems analysis, and dissemination of behavior analysis to the international community.

Sergio is president and co-founder of B.E.S.T. Consulting, Inc., a certified non-public agency with the California Department of Education serving children with autism and related disorders. He has extensive experience developing collaborative solutions in educational environments. He also conducts trainings and workshop presentations (in both English and Spanish language) at state and national behavioral conferences.

A partial list of clients include Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Kaiser Permanente, State Farm Insurance, Southwire Corporation, Therma Tru and Weatherite Windows.

Sergio is in the process of completing his Masters in Psychology – Applied Behavior Analysis at California State University, Sacramento. He also holds a B.A. in Psychology from UCLA.

Dr. Kenneth Stephens | Vice President, Web Based Services

Dr. Kenneth Stephens holds a Ph.D., Applied Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University and has thirty years experience combining Behavior Analysis and Software Engineering. Ken developed the SOPA Software and is founder and CEO of several software companies including BehavHeuristics, Inc. Operant WebSites, Applied Behavior Systems, and Behavioral Safety Services, Inc. He is webmaster of Behavioral Safety Now and is a Certified ColdFusion Developer.
